Join Us.
SKCCH members deal with the causes, circumstances and consequences of homelessness every day. Our members offer survival services and shelter in response to homeless people’s immediate needs, and create lasting solutions to homelessness in the form of permanent, affordable housing with appropriate supports. This direct knowledge and experience inform the Coalition’s perspective and priorities.
Both organizations and individuals support the Coalition financially through
membership dues, and actively advance the Coalition’s work by participating
in advocacy campaigns and committee work, volunteering for and leading special
projects like the One Night Count and Project Cool, and exchanging resources
and information.
By becoming a SKCCH member, agencies and individuals:
- Join voices to create a powerful chorus speaking up for the good public policies and wise public and private investments needed to make real the vision of ending homelessness in our community
- Connect with other organizations and people doing the everyday work of supporting survival and safety for people who are homeless
- Gain access to top-notch educational opportunities, develop skills, and participate in special projects related to homeless services
Engage in policy advocacy, public education, and action
to protect and strengthen the civil rights of people who are homeless.
